Body was recorded in a top-secret location!! We can’t reveal the location for various reaons, but we can tell you that it was a large, floor-boarded room with incredible reverb and echo. And that we had to push poor Rachel, then 4-months pregnant, through a window to get in.

We were once again running on a battery powered recording desk so time was of the essence, especially as we were conscious of being asked to leave at any moment.

We chose to record Body in such a space as it begs for explosions of sound and this room delivered.

The end of this song features a phone recording we took at Teufelsberg, Berlin, in July 2012. The voices of Daniel Palmer, George Weis and Terry McLeod can also be heard.
