Rather than all being in the one space, in Street we chose to match each of our voices to a different room. Annabelle was in a laundry, Sally was in a hallway and Rachael was in a kitchen. (Any jokes about traditional womanly duties can now be erased thank you.)
Choosing three different locations highlighted the individual characters of our voices and resulted in a complex mixture of tones and ambience.
I discovered this trio via one of its members' side project called Oliver White; and I felt in love with the singer's voice instantly. Along with the right amount of minimalism and complexity, the album is beautiful and heartfelt. j
